Pure Scentsation™ was founded in 2021 in the heart of the Pacific Northwest by LuVetra—better known as Lulu—creator, maker, and lifelong scent enthusiast. What began as a personal love letter to beauty, healing, and everyday self-care has grown into a brand rooted in intention and sensory joy.
The idea had been quietly brewing for years, but in 2024, Lulu began taking it seriously as a way to lift her own spirits. While navigating anxiety, burnout, and the emotional weight of daily life, she turned to scent as ritual and refuge. Blending oils became a grounding practice—offering peace, focus, and a renewed sense of purpose when she needed it most.
There was also frustration. Traditional salon oils moisturized well enough, but the scents often felt harsh, boring, or just… off. Lulu wanted something better—something that nourished the skin and delighted the senses. So she did what creators do best: she made her own.
With eczema-prone, sensitive skin, clean and gentle ingredients weren’t optional—they were essential. Lulu chose organic jojoba oil and vitamin E oil as the foundation of every blend, carefully pairing them with thoughtfully selected essential and fragrance oils. Each ingredient is chosen for its skin-loving benefits and aromatic harmony—creating formulas that are both soothing and sensorial.
Each blend became an intentional act of care, crafted first for herself and soon shared with others who wanted something more mindful.
What started as a passion project has since blossomed into Pure Scentsation™—a brand centered on intentional self-care, creative expression, and the soothing power of scent.
